The South African Football Association says it will seek to recover legal costs incurred during challenges brought by Ria Ledwaba and Solly Mohlabeng over the association's 2022 election.
SAFA announced the decision in a statement published on its website. The association said several court applications linked to the election dispute had been dismissed with costs.
According to SAFA, the litigation moved through the Pretoria High Court, the Supreme Court of Appeal and the Constitutional Court. The association said the Constitutional Court dismissed the latest application a few days ago.
Cost claim to follow
SAFA said it expected to send its first cost claim in the coming days. It did not state the amount it intends to recover.
