Inacio Miguel returns to Kaizer Chiefs’ starting defence for Saturday’s Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates, replacing Rushwin Dortley in the only change from their midweek cup lineup.

The Betway Premiership match is scheduled for 15:30 SAST on 31 October at FNB Stadium, with Pirates the home side.

Chiefs’ team announcement places Miguel alongside Thabo Moloisane, while Brandon Petersen keeps the captaincy. Wandile Duba leads the attack, supported by Pule Mmodi and Mfundo Vilakazi.

The selection reverses Tuesday’s change against TS Galaxy, when Dortley replaced Miguel. Comparing the two official starting lists confirms that the other ten Chiefs starters are unchanged.

Starting teams

Kaizer Chiefs: Petersen (captain), Mako, Miguel, Moloisane, Frosler, Mthethwa, Maboe, Shabalala, Mmodi, Vilakazi, Duba.

Orlando Pirates: Chaine, Sibisi (captain), Seema, Ndaba, Hotto, Mokobodi, Mbatha, Selepe, Masilela, Mbuthuma, Moremi.

Both lineups above are those published in Chiefs’ official match-day team announcement.
