Binance sets Sunday window for phased withdrawal restart

Binance plans a phased withdrawal restart between 08:00 and 11:00 SAST and reports 95% replenishment after its security incident.

Binance has set an 08:00–11:00 South African time window on Sunday, 1 November, for the planned first phase of its cryptocurrency withdrawal restart following a security incident.

The exchange’s fourth recovery update says access will return progressively after checks, rather than reopen for every asset at once. The announcement does not establish that withdrawals have already resumed.

Its initial list includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Solana and other networks. Availability depends on the specific token and network combination. Binance says deposits remain open and warns that early withdrawals could face delays.

The company also reports that it has covered about 95% of the affected amount, up from 90% in its previous update. It says the remaining tokens are less liquid and take longer to source.

That replenishment figure is Binance’s account of its recovery work, not independent confirmation that stolen assets have all been recovered.

Binance says it will bear the losses and publish a detailed report after its investigation.
