XPENG reports record October vehicle deliveries
XPENG says it delivered 50,237 vehicles in October, with overseas deliveries rising 166% year on year to a record 13,326.
Chinese carmaker XPENG reported record monthly deliveries of 50,237 vehicles in October, with overseas deliveries growing faster than the total.
The company’s latest delivery update showed a 22% increase from September and 20% growth from October last year. Overseas deliveries reached 13,326 vehicles, up 166% year on year.
That puts markets outside China at about 26.5% of October’s total, calculated from the company’s figures. The update did not break those deliveries down by country.
African expansion
XPENG has been building its African distribution network. It entered Egypt with Raya Auto in June 2024 and announced agreements with SMEIA in Morocco and XP CARS Tunisia in September 2025.
In that September announcement, XPENG identified South Africa and Kenya as possible future expansion targets. The new delivery report does not announce a South African launch, local prices or a distribution partner.
New model and robotaxi plans
XPENG said deliveries of its L05 model in mainland China were due to begin on 1 November following its October launch.
The company also reported receiving a demonstration-operation licence for Level 4 robotaxi services in Guangzhou on 26 October. It described that approval as a step towards testing operations and its business model, rather than announcing a wider commercial rollout.
