Mediwell Medical and Dental Centre brings a broad range of healthcare services together at Dainfern Square in Fourways, giving patients access to routine, urgent and multidisciplinary care from one facility.
The centre’s services include general practitioners, dentists, medical examinations, health screenings and support for chronic conditions. Patients can also access a baby clinic, travel clinic, vaccinations, physiotherapy, psychology, laboratory services and X-rays.
Coordinated care seven days a week
Mediwell says appointments are recommended but walk-in patients can be accommodated for selected services. The centre is open seven days a week, including Sundays and public holidays, while life-threatening emergencies should still be directed to emergency services or the nearest emergency department.
The facility is part of the Discovery GP Network and works with selected medical aids. Discovery Vitality wellness and fitness screening services are also available on site.
