Purple Group expects headline earnings per share for the year ended 31 August 2026 to rise by between 22.3% and 32.3%, according to a trading statement released on Friday afternoon.

The company forecasts headline earnings of 5.26 to 5.69 cents per share, compared with 4.30 cents a year earlier. Basic earnings per share are expected to be between 5.37 and 5.80 cents, an increase of 24.9% to 34.9%.

These are projected ranges ahead of the full results, not audited figures already published. Purple Group said its auditors had not reviewed or reported on the financial information underlying the statement.

The company expects to release its audited annual results on or about 11 November. That date is an expectation rather than a confirmed publication time.

The statement did not provide a revenue figure or explain the operating factors behind the anticipated earnings improvement. Those details remain to be assessed when the fuller results are released.
