South African job seekers have current vacancies to consider at SITA, the Department of Employment and Labour, Gauteng provincial departments and the Department of Water and Sanitation.

SITA technology and administration roles

SITA’s official recruitment portal lists software developer and functional application support posts closing on 16 September. An end-user computing technician contract post serving Aliwal North and Makhanda also closes on that date.

A permanent treasury manager position at SITA’s Erasmuskloof office closes on 18 September. Applicants should open the full advert for the reference number, qualifications and submission method.

Employment and Labour vacancies

The Department of Employment and Labour lists security, registry, accounting, human-resources, claims processing, legal and management posts closing on 18 September.

The department says public-service applicants must use the required Z83 form. Its employment and career-counselling services are free.

Gauteng and Water and Sanitation

Gauteng’s Professional Job Centre lists health, finance, communications, environment and transport posts with closing dates from 17 to 21 September. The vacancies include nursing and medical roles as well as administrative and management positions.

The Department of Water and Sanitation’s recruitment portal lists posts closing later in September, including a senior human-resource practitioner position with a 28 September deadline.

Job seekers should use the live department portal to confirm that a vacancy remains open. The official advert is the controlling source for salary, location, minimum requirements and the accepted application method.
